The project
Transport news, the publisher's titles and its advertisers – all on one portal.
A transport trade magazine, online
Indóház has been published since October 2005: the print railway magazine is still sold at newsagents across Hungary, and the publisher also produces railway books and calendars. Its online edition, iho.hu, covers rail, road, aviation, shipping, logistics and sustainable transport with daily news, blogs and in-depth features.
iho.hu was developed by WEBAPIX, and we still look after it today. Articles go live quickly, the content of the previous site was carried over to the new portal, and advertising and the online shop run in the same system.
Then and now
The first issue came out in October 2005, with an M62 diesel locomotive on the cover under the headline “The last diesel paradise”. The print edition of Indóház is a railway magazine, while iho.hu covers seven main areas of transport: rail, road, aviation, shipping, transport development, supply chain and green mobility.

Articles can sit in several sections at once, so a story about rail and sustainability appears in both. The homepage brings together featured stories, short news and recommendations, and authors write in their own blog columns.
